Re: Operation Reform June 25-26 2010
NEW OP REFORM TEAM FORUMS ARE UP!!!
Once you register for your team you will notice at the top of the menu above "Home" there will be a new tab. It will say either "Op Reform Forum (Sep)" or "Op Reform Forum (Loy)" depending on the side you register for. It probably won't happen the second you sign up give it time and it will appear, after a day if you still can't see it let me know and I will look into it.
Reasons you might not be able to see the forums....
1. You haven't finished your sign up process/Paid
2. You have finished the sign up process but did not get put on your first team of choice due to lack of spots available. Remember to those members that are trying to be put on a waiting list to get on the team of your choice you will not be granted access to any forums until A) a spot opens on your team that you want and we switch you over or B) Pre-registration is over and you can no longer switch teams.
Pre-registration will end 1 week before the game starts to give those members that could not make it to their team of choice a chance to join in on the chatter on their teams forum and so the leaders know who is on their team and can prepare accordingly.
what does all this mean? PRE-REGISTER NOW! spots are limited...the only way to make sure you get on your team is to make sure you pre-register as early as possible.
and remember June 4th is the deadline to pre-register and have your name thrown into the drawing for...
o Tracer units w/bb’s
o M203 RIS Launchers w/grenades
o Fan Goggles
o Sights
o Bucket o’ Grenades
o Meal tickets
2 New Members have joined the fight for the Separatists!, 2 Fewer spots are now available. As teams begin to fill up more spots will be opened, so if you don't get on the team you wish please add a note during Paypal or send either myself or MackPerformance a PM telling us your first choice of team. Team Switching will be on a first come first serve basis.

Re: Operation Reform June 25-26 2010
This is directed to 'ROB': All rules are taken in conjunction to rules posted by TFAA as well as our take on a safe playing environment. If you have played at 'Wilcox', you have notably been to their forum and signed their rules which state:
"EYE PROTECTION
Goggles that form a full tight seal around your eyes are required.
All lenses must be rated at ANSI Z87.1-2003 (also known as Z87.1+).
Regular shop goggles, shooting glasses, or sunglasses do not offer adequate protection from shots from the sides, rear, or ricochets and are not be allowed!"
http://foundation.forummotion.com/foundation-regulations-and-guidelines-f1/tfaa-rules-please-read-and-sign-t1.htm
As event hosts we are guests (as are all players). And I hope you all understand that it is our desire to have a safe and fun environment. That being said, we will enforce the rules and hope that no one will take away from that by disregarding these rules. Being that this event is open for younger Airsoft members, we will look to the older players to set a good example. I have tried shooting glasses to get a feel for their value. And while more comfortable they do lack the protection one should hold for their own sight. Eyes do not grow back, and once lost they are lost forever.
To clarify, this is a MilSim style event. Not a game that will start and end, start and end. Ammo limits are in place to force squads to work together and players to think about their shooting not just spray and pray. In the technical section of the player packet you will note the use of 'Helicopters', Please be very familiar with these rules! Use the forums to communicate with your team as well as get updates on game out lines. This is not a traditional one team on one side and the other team on the other. For a better under standing you will have to be on the forum other wise when you arrive, you will be lost until you get an Intel dump from one of the team commanders. I will say that you will not always be at war but on a truce or cease fire agreement with the other team. This is when the commander’s skill and use of recon and snipers will come into play. For a lost or uninformed player, he could severely set his team back if he were to break the cease fire due to not understanding the situation.
Undoubtedly if you have ever attended a large scale event you have already seen these rules and nothing is really new or unheard of. While we would like to make everyone happy, that would never happen. We just ask that everyone know the rules and implement them for this event. Thanks for all calls I have gotten from you guys, it has been nice to talk with you all. I am looking forward to see you all on the field.

Roger that - also one more question If I go out in my squad and we are woodland. Say I decided in mid game to pull my ghillie suit out. Is there any rules against that? It's " wood land " ghillie

Re: Operation Reform June 25-26 2010
Using a ghilie is going to be very necessary for snipers. All that is required is that you have your teams base T-shirt or camo underneath. That way if you are confronted by your own team, you can quickly verify with them that you are indeed on the same team.
Re: Operation Reform June 25-26 2010
What if I do not go out as a " sniper " that is what I am getting at.

Re: Operation Reform June 25-26 2010
ghilie suits can be used by anyone on the team. Not only snipers. Just as long as you have your teams camo underneath

Re: Operation Reform June 25-26 2010
Depending on the model, the Panhandle Airsoft Shop charges $15-$35 for most work + parts. Give me a call at 850.867.7020 and I can give you a final price. All work is warranted for 6 months unless stated. Super high FPS or ROF can alter warranty policy. I do note that there is always a case for faulty parts and would never leave a fellow airsofter out to dry.

Re: Operation Reform June 25-26 2010
this is matt on discos name. I saw that in the rules it said we CAN use small pyro grenades. An that small firecrackers where ok. Are their any stipulation's on this that i need to be aware of that haven't been mention?

Re: Operation Reform June 25-26 2010
That’s pretty much it that player can use for pyro. The field will be pretty dry this time of year and they have already have had trouble with other types of pyro starting fires. So small firecracker grenades are all that players will be allowed to use. However admins will be using artillery, and airstrike simulators to spice up the game. But these will be carefully watched by staff.
Re: Operation Reform June 25-26 2010
ok well disco an i made our grenades im just going to get an admin when i show up an double check make sure all is good come game day

Re: Operation Reform June 25-26 2010
Yeah adding the use of grenades is awesome. Itll be cool to hear all the poping and banging going off around the field. It would be cool if yall set off controlled (in metal containment boxes to stop the chance of fire) smoke bombs around the field to give it a more realistic feel out there. Either way I cant wait!!!
Re: Operation Reform June 25-26 2010
I really hope they do some kind of vented smoke bombs. Just adds to the feel of the experience!
