Hi, sorry theres no new news about the game at fort polk but one of the nice people on the forum told me about this 2 day game. Op Crimson Wave.

The invasion had gone smoothly, just as the one in Iraq had gone. Only this time, the deserts were thick brush, the buildings thick oaks, and the insurgents opium addicted guerrillas.
The Allies had decided to finally do something about the vile and inhumane genocide in Burma.
Desert fatigues had been traded for the old school fatigues that their fore bearers had used back in The goose. Members of the Big Red One were the first into this conflict, and so far, all had been clear. Not much combat, just a few groups of resistance.
That was, until today.
September __, 2010: 900 Hours
Sol beat down on the soldiers' backs like the whip of an unfair master. Their day was just beginning. Their commander lead the way to the objective, a hill where the enemy was supposed to have set up a weapons cache. Intel was good, or so the man in the CCP had said. An AWACS AE-3 Sentry flew overhead, out of range of any rockets the guerrillas might have had. And this force was as hyped up as they could be as they marched down the road, escorting the one tank that they could get.
Little did this group know that a simple snatch and grab would turn into a cluster frak worthy of being remembered by those who would study military history in the future.

Alright you guys, this is going to be the first real big airsoft event that I have hosted, and I want to make this one a big one. This event is open to ALL AIRSOFT TEAMS REGARDLESS OF ALLIANCES OR GRUDGES! I want this to be the biggest events that LA has had, and I will even try to get prizes from airsoft websites to give out for drawings. I want to know a head count by August 15th so if the teams are not the way I want, I can assign roles.

There will be three factions:

The Big Red One, our trusty American GI's! They have been sent into Burma to bring an end to the genocide that has been going on in the country for years after the UN finally agreed something had to be one. Uniforms for the Americans can be Woodland, MARPAT, Tiger Stripes, or DPM

The Burmese Army: A vicious army ran by a cruel dictator. They like to raid villages of food, children, women, and weapons, kill anyone they please, and abuse as many drugs as they can find in their poppy fields. Guerrilla tactics are their specialty. Uniforms for the Burmese can be Khaki, Tan, Multicam, ACUs, or Desert Marpat

The Scarlet Band: A group of mercenaries who have decided to go into Burma to work for the Highest Bidder. If you find them, you should pay them well; maybe you can use them...

This game will be hosted in the historic grounds of Camp Claiborne in Forest Hill, Louisiana. This will be a two day event, however, campers are welcome to show up the Friday night before the event happens to meet players and enjoy a great evening in Mother Nature.

The date for this event is [color:e8b5=red ] To Be Decided Later and we will meet at the Home Deport in Alexandria at 8am SHARP. Show up early if you want to talk and chat, for we will leave at 8 SHARP.

The first day of this event will be Scenario games, which include Capture the Flag, Team Deathmatch, Bomb Disposal, and North Hollywood Shootout, which has proven to be a very popular scenario at recent Aces games. The second day will be the MilSim event talked about above.

LACOM MED WILL BE ENFORCED AND ALL GUNS WILL BE CHRONOED BEFORE PLAYING! For those who dont know, LACOM Minimum Engagement Distances are as follows:
>300-300 FPS=No MED
301-400 FPS=20 Foot MED
500 and up=100 Foot MED

If you DO NOT have a gun that shoots under 300, YOU CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN ANY GAMES AT "THE ZONE"

A schedule of the events will be listed at a later date, and will be STRICTLY STUCK TO.

Please post if you can make it and the number of people you will be bringing, and if you will be willing to cook. It is expected that if anyone wants BBQ, they will chip in BEFORE cooking starts, as a food run will be made in the evening.
Roster:

Americans:

Burmese:

Mercenaries (5 minimum):

I am going to go ahead and schedule this event for the Labor Day Weekend so that almost anyone with a job will be able to get off and come play! Please PM me with what position you want you and your group to be on.
