Re: Game at fort polk la, october 16-17.
Hi taken from from the other forum.
To all,
Over the past couple of days there has been great confusion as to what has been going on as of late with this Charity Event. What I do want to do is state clearly that this event was never a “Renegade Event” or nor was it “never in the process of approval” as it was. Nor is this event “Canceled” as many say on the “Other Sites”.
This Charity Event was and still is in the process of getting “Vetted for review” at the time certain “Individuals outside Military Channels” tried to stop the process, problem is was that that information was working its way up the chain at the time as not everyone had visibility on the situation. This fact was cleared up and evidence brought forward proved beyond a reasonable doubt that not only was I going through the proper channels to do this event, but everything was being submitted in the order it was required to.
We were a bit jumpy on the PR as I wanted to get as many people as possible to the event. We had two messages, a “teaser” message and an official “this thing is on” message. PR Staff were supposed to use the “Teaser” message but many got confused by posting the “this thing is on” message. After we also removed the messages and either replaced them with the “Teaser” message, or did not repost. We wanted to get exposure for the event ASAP to see possible involvement.
So short and sweet the only miscommunication here was a couple of people "Jumping the gun" and posting info prematurely.
We will keep everyone posted on new information when we receive it and continue to work through "Official Channels" to get this thing off the ground.
Thank you,
