Guess who's back.. back again..
I have " acquired " a couple things to help me in my growing struggle of the single shot world. Let's just say if you get within a rocks throw from me.. you will be in for a wonderful surprise
Also have been fine tuning the sniper rifle. With the leak that is has it will no be as extreme as it used to be BUT so far in testing it is more accurate then it has ever been.
An last but not least.. I SEE YOU JON!

Re: The Snipers Lounge
It isn't a sniper rifle but I own my JG AK-47 and i made a shot that was just. Incredible. In fact, it was against a Barret Sniper! I was on the Hill playing seige and i was in the small bunker just behind the tip bunker (No dirty jokes). I saw just a head and the end of a rifle in the sniper tower in the crackhouse. I stood there looking for a bit until I fired at it, with no real hopes of hitting. After a small exchange, i ended up watching one BB stray and hit him in the face! This was on my first game out there actually. And just to prove it was ALL luck and NO skill. my gun shoots 396 avg FPS and I use .20 g. It's a sprayer at close range so it was a crazy shot! Haha.
Re: The Snipers Lounge
That is BA Joel those are always a real day maker when you have some amazing shot like that happen.
Re: The Snipers Lounge
I don't really have a best shot.. I have some really crazy 200-300ft shots but the one that stands out was just a unreal shot.
guy is out say.. idk 240ft out. The wind is just a nightmare. Makes sniping with a spring rifle very very hard. So anyways back to the shot.
guy is out 240ft - wind is wiping , i take my first shot and it just screams right almost as soon as it leaves the barrel. So, my old video games frame of mind came into play. I knew my gun could not reach that far out (( before I upgraded it )) so using the wind I aimed a good 20ft left of him and very high. I waited for him to think he was in the clear and stop. As I pull the trigger the bb flies just as I imagined. as it's flying I watching... thinking " this could be close " " this is going to be really close " then I hear HIT! - damn snipers - and he turns around. as soon as I heard him say hit, I jumped up and yelled YES! well.. then I got lit up by his buddy that was flanking me. But the shot was just unreal. The time it took to get to the guy was like a slo mo. It is to this date my favorite sniper shot.

Re: The Snipers Lounge
Ok which one are you? lol sorry bad with names..
And just so you know.. I will be firing .40s instead of .36s come sat. with a little more " kick " and better seal do to a newer spring and me actually knowing what I am doing this time when putting the gun back together correct and forming the correct seals needed to raise the FPS to what this gun was supposed to be be shooting awhile back. Let's just say my gun is shooting @ least 30% harder then ever.

Re: The Snipers Lounge
whatever you do get.. make sure it's upgradable. All those type 96 guns are crazy expensive to upgrade IF you can even find the parts. Stick with VSR type snipers! Way cheaper & alot easier to find parts for.

Re: The Snipers Lounge
from what little I have researched.. i have no clue. It's a over priced under powered gun. If you could link me directly where you are buying it from I can research it more.

Re: The Snipers Lounge
Looks like it's going to be a big & heavy gun. But it shoots the field limit out of the box so thats cool. It's based of L96 parts which are VERY expensive and very hard to find. So if anything breaks or if you seek upgrades your pretty screwed.
Here is a copy / paste right from there website -
Pros & Cons
Pros
Custom stock
Good stock power
Stock tightbore
Adjustable buttpad
Adjustable cheekrest
Comes with scope
Comes with bipod
Comes with sling
Durable construction
Good stock performance
Modified v-hop
Fully upgradeable
Cons
V-hop isnâ€t top quality
Plastic trigger box
Plastic finish
APS96 upgrade parts are harder to come by
Has some occasional issues cocking (you can “fix†it by pulling the trigger)
The ones I bolded = problems. just ask Disco what happened to my Mauser pro tac sniper. Some plastic stuff and it went BOOM. Gun has been sitting in my spare bed room in pieces ever since. Shot like a freaking beast when it was working though. Loved every bit of it! But.. lol ya know.. it's a roll of the dice chief.
Like I said before, I would stick with VSR type snipers for easier upgrades and less money. But if this is a style you like go for it.

Re: The Snipers Lounge
only one screw was holding it together, the others the plastic broke around the head of the screw.the whole case was cracked and the seat that holds the pin for the pistion sear riped foward, so it moves and lets the spring go.

Re: The Snipers Lounge
Yupper some exact thing that happened to me..
What you need is a Laylax Type 96 L96 Zero Trigger -
Want the bad news or the worst news? Bad news = Damn thing cost a little over $200.oo.. worst news.. they are never in stock anywhere lol.. Hence why I just went with a whole new gun. Sucks big time but that's what happens when you have a almost 500FPS spring slamming all day long with a POS plastic build.
