Fps to high?

Well my friend has a friend who plays at these fields and my friend told me i cant upgrade my gun if i want to play here. Ok so the fps is 450 right now i want to upgrade the spring and barrel making the fps 610 it is a full metal aeg with a full metal gear box.

EDIT: Sorry i was being immature at the time of this thread and i realize how big of a fag i was being sorry.

I no way have any say in the field BUT, we do have a field limit of 400FPS and it is strongly enforced. I don't know of any fields that would allow 600FPS guns at all.. @ 400FPS we actually have a higher field limit them most fields. Most fields rung 350ish.

But like I said I don't run anything so i'll let Disco do a follow up on this.

No AEG's are allowed to fire over 400 fps on our field. We have a chronograph and will enforce the fps limit if need be. This is already a dangerous game and raising your fps to anything over 400 is asking for injury using a fully auto AEG. If your current AEG shoots 450 like you say it does then you will need to downgrade the gun if you want to play at our field. These rules are in place to protect our player and keep them coming back for more fun.

Dam you guys know any were me and my team can play i have 18 people and we have no were most of our guns are 450 or 400. None of us will downgrade our guns we like picking each other off from like 300 feet. Yesterday we played at a house for sail but we have to many people so as soon as we started we all got hit. Welp, email me if you up the fps amount.

Same thing at wilcox field, 400 FPS limit on AEGs 20 feet med., 450 FPS on support weapons 50 feet med, 550 FPS for Sniper Rifles 100 feet med, no home made weapons that can not be chrono!

I would be able to lower my gun it would make me really annoyed you cant pick people off from a distance.

You my friend have to think of this...

AEG - 98% of them = 300-400FPS, Range depends on upgrades or quality of gun. You say you have a hard time picking people off.. FROM 300FT?!?!

Ok.. right there is your problem. You want to pick off people from 300FT, get a sniper rifle and have fun. Even at that it's still very hard. Downside to that is you are now on Bolt action single shot + you can not engage anyone within 100FT. Unlike AEG's where you can fire as close as 20ft.

400FPS @ around 50-100 ft away will leave one nasty mark.

Think of it this way,

AEGs for the most part have around a max reach of 200FT. An that's a really good one... UNLESS you are blessed with a 1500$ PTW or something crazy like that.

Snipers can reach out 250-300Ft an that is limited to only those sniper rifles shoot 500FPS+, highly upgraded barrel, ect ect.

Anywho, maybe think of a different role? AKA Sniper, or something. Or like has been stated good luck finding a field with those FPS limits. I'm in no way trying to be mean when I say that but to find anyone running that high of FPS field I would say is not going to happen. As I said earlier, most fields run 350FPS limits. Be glad we can run 400FPS!

Oh an BTW, the only thing you would need to do to downgrade really is change out your spring.. Hell keep your good spring an what not for your buddy games and then place in the field limit spring to play on Airsoft fields ya know?

Ok have fun with yall's games when you decide to swap out yer spring come on out and play. I can promise you that with an AEG shooting 450 to 600 you would be escorted off every field you try to play on in the US.

I know but most of my friends are scared of my gun and stay 100 ft away so i need a better spring so i can just aim and take them out. But whens the next game i can try to lower my fps to 400 for right now doing a couple mods then ill use the thing to clock the speed.

as everyone else says 600 fps is not ever going to be allowed in US fields. ive gotten some really wicked welts from sniper rifles firing at me within 100 ft and i would NEVER even play on our field if someone was over 500 fps its just not that big.

Not trying to rain on your parade again but a sniper with that kinda fps isnt allowed to use full auto capability on most fields. BUT you can use that gun as a sniper all you want on single fire and using the 100 ft engagement rule. I can pretty much guarantee you that if you shoot someone within the 100 ft there is going to be a serious problem. I cant stress enough that this game is about having fun and being safe if players are getting injured and dont feel comfortable its not fun anymore.

I did not say during a game.
If you bring a 600fps gun, you are just trying to hurt some one.
And if some one gets hurt bad it will most likely mean the end of airsoft at this field.
So if you want to hurt some one you do not need to play at this field.
snippers are bolt action one shot 500 fps top and 100 ft minn.
