How does the forums ranking system work

I couldn't help but notice that there is a ranking system established with this forum group was wondering if any one could shed some light as to how it works and what is needed to get some stripes

the more postings you have the higher your rank.

i am great full for the fact that there is a forum bringing this areas air soft enthusiast alike together to talk and meet up keeping the hobby alive and well. For that i thank you
