CillerCarl, My name is John and I would like to meet with some like minded passionate individuals to build a product within the local area that is force on force centric. I have worked for various contractors and DOD agencies teaching tac driving, PSD, and field of fire domination skillsets. I, myself am not anything special, however I have worked in a variety of training venues and have seen magical force on force methods. I would like to pull all the magical pieces along with some of my ideas and grind them into a holistic force on force approach not only for training, but also adrenaline pumping milsim. I believe that there is potential in creating a large milsim capability in the community, and a market potential for high end military vacation (mancamp) for those that have never served...with a military appreciation spin on things. my problem...not enough capital to kick things off on a large scale. As of now I am researching how to put various local assets together to create various product combinations, from special range permits to utilizing Eglin Reservation (jackson guard/ bae) for land nav events and possible small scale force on force engagements. Camp Blanding is another possible venue...waiting word back from them. I am about to solicit from other land owners along the 10 corridor for land rental opportunities. I am going to contact local small airports for Hanger space, ability to use tarmacs for advance drivers training, and the ability to stage high end paying clients as Hits are generated and the team jocks up and moves "soft" to Infil rally point where they will jock up to go "hard". I am researching water infil, surface compass swim to target location potentials as well. I would like a "country X" map that encompasses the entire panhandle for scenario sites. while this all may sound wild...this is how many PMC companies network the community into a large product. I believe the formula can work for Milsim as well. There are a few high end Extreme Adventures that do exactly these things...I would like to compete with those companies at some point.

Eventually, it would be great to have enough local interest/ players that two main sides or JTF's can be created to battle. within each JTF, players can be free to create their own teams in any configuration that they wish (this would ultimately make friend/ foe-IFF more realistic) Objectives can be dictated by JTF leaders and Event TOC to ensure realistic tactical challanges. A main AO for this type even would be great and I am very willing to eventually dedicate much of my families earnings to building JTF FOBS and a main mock town...I just don't own the land.

My intentions are not to overstep my boundaries on this website and I hope I have not done that. My wife can tell you, I am very energetic on this and have been dreaming of putting this together for many years now. I left Fort Leonard Wood Mo teaching there to move my family to this area and start researching how to make this a reality. Thanks Southern Command Airsoft for any thoughts.

Hello CillerCarl and thanks for the reply. I would enjoy coming out and playing at some point and meeting the Southern Command community.

The intent of my post is to make contact with the owner of the land in Crestview, and meet others within the local airsoft community who are interested in developing a business relationship. I wish to have a company that specializes in all things Force on Force and it would be great to have some business partners that are enthusiastic about milsim force on force type stuff.

This is probably not the appropriate means to communicate with...I sent a message via the contact botton and probably should try again.

I have read though a bunch of posts cillercarl and it seems that you are a guy in the know, however I am not sure who is the main guy for Southern Command or who owns the land in Crestview.

Any input on who is the best one to talk to and how to contact them would be great, in the meantime, coming out and making friends with everyone would be great...plus I am waiting for my admin stuff to go through so I can start gigs with some training companies...but for now I am sitting on my behind not doing much but getting more out of shape...coming out and running around wacking...or getting wacked would be good. let me know when the next event will be, I will not make it tomorrow due to my wife starting a new job.

Thanks

John
