Dec 4th 2010 - Crestview Game Day!
Southern Command bi-weekly game day
Field fee - 10$
Bring a red or some color DEAD rag.
Try to remember we are switching to full seal goggles!
Rentals, we have a couple members who are provided very very FEW rentals. Please reply to this post asking for a rental and we will see what we can do. Rental prices based on the owner of the gun who is renting it!

The weather is tricky. Game day before last was in the 60s this past one was in the 70s. So dress in a extra layer or bring and extra layer. The new armory base looks great and works very well. Bravo has been 100% reshaped & moved. The crazy weeds on the field has now all died off and it's base to easy moving. So bring your guns & Ammo and pre-pare for a great day of airsoft!

Hi there,
To answer your question, a dead rag is a red colored hankerchief or rag that you put on top of your head when you get shot. This way, when you are walking to the respawn point, the other team can identify you as a dead person, and they'll move on to another target.
As far as directions go, If you go to google.com/maps and paste the GPS coordinates below, you can see exactly where the field is, and how to get there from your location. 30°48'42.47"N 86°32'30.37"W
See you on the 4th

its not behind anything, but for first timers it can be alittle tricky to get to, you will see the field and a turn, unless u wanna take on the big hill and ditch dont take it. alittle bit further theres another turn and u go into the stores driveway and there will be a dirt road ontop of the hill

what full seal goggles!!!!!!! so i cant use my shooting glasses anymore?
Re: Dec 4th 2010 - Crestview Game Day!
99% of the field is now using some sort of full seal eye wear. For the couple that may not understand why it's really simple.
It's for YOUR protection. Say I line up a sniper shot... aim chest high. The BB flies up and catches you in the cheek bone then proceeds to bounce off your glasses and straight into your eye. That's 500+fps and you more then likely will lose your eye sight out of that eye for the rest of your life. It's just not worth the risk... even lower powered guns. It's just the fact that something could get through there. It's like wearing a bullet proof vest but only on your stomach. Whats the point?
Maybe that will shine some light on the subject for those that didn't understand why the field changed the rules requirement. ALSO.. Wilcox and most all OPs require this type of protection as well.

As already stated, final say does go to Disco but the Roit shield is not a fan favorite. It's great for real life thing but just does not serve any true purpose in a airsoft environment. It's more like taking one of our bunkers and walking around with it.. very unfair lol.

Remember when that one guy brought it out and him and spence fought because spencer tried to surrendered him through a window and he put the riot shield infront of the window and popped his gun out of a little corner he made using the riot shield and it was a big problem

It would be aiteresting and new challenge but easily solved by a swarm of bullets and people to the sides. Or a grenade.

Team Infidel
Team Infidel is looking to show with 5 to 6. I have made this claim before I know. We will see. The other group from Fort Rucker is also is looking to show (I don’t have numbers). This could be a really good turnout from Alabama!!

I haven't seen those cats in a while... That would be awesome if they come out. I'm bringing a guest with me on Saturday as well. He's a Captain in the USAF.

Wish I could make it. I'm hitting the OP this day. I wish I could bring the upgraded AK out and show off. It's shooting great now! Still needs some work, but it's closer and closer to completion. None the less, expect me at the next one!
