9/11 Game Day - Southern Command Crestview

i'll be there!

and if anyone has a decent sized American flag on a pole that they can bring out that would be really neat. We can set it up by the cars.

I Will be attending this game day as well as any members I can drag from Panhandle.

Really interested in seeing the Rush game mode

Disco, I can look in Walmart and see if they have any. They usually have a bunch leftover from the Forth of July.

Its almost game day!! Game on!!

I'm going to Walmart after work to see if they have any flags and flagpoles.

I found one at Walmart that comes on a 5ft pole. It was the biggest one they had. I will bring it out to the field tomorrow morning. I should be there really early, cause I'm spending the night up in Crestview. I'm looking forward to playing tomorrow. Can't wait!

we are going to try and be at the field by 8am to get some bunkers set up around the bases.

i cant wait to try the new hostage game mode tomorrow. Going to take a few games to make it perfect but should be fun

ahh, i believe those are mine. Did you grab them? The hat should be BDU with the flaps, and the goggles OD green? If you grabbed them you gonna be at the next game in 2 weeks?

Well we had another fun day of shooting at each other out at the SouthCom field! We had around 14 players, the weather was in the mid to high nineties with clear skies all day and a nice breeze. We played many of our regular variants and the new hostage game. The hostage game went well but still needs some tweaking. I can see that game being a ton of fun with the right adjustments. Thank you to those of you who were hostages and sorry again Nobody for killin you when you were a hostage ha ha ha. Next time try to keep down ha ha ha!!!

We did have our first "injury" out on the field due to the heat and lack of proper hydration and preperation. Luckily he was sitting with Kozer when he passed out so he was in good hands with Old Sams help. As another stroke of good fortune within about the same couple minuets Dennis, one of our regular players that just happens to be a fireman, pulled up in his fireman car and took over stabilizing the patient. We contacted the players parents to come and pick him up!!! It all ended well thanks to the quick thinking of our awesome group of guys out on the field!

I also experienced a first out on the field yesterday too. I got shot in the mouth from all the way across the hill it was an amazing lucky shot. I say lucky cause the guy that shot me said that he just popped out for a second and fired the one shot at me. We were playing the single fire CTF game on top of the hill and I was telling one of my squad members where to go when all of a sudden, WHACK my upper lip and front tooth are in pain. I was just so worried that it knocked out or chipped my front tooth that. That would totally suck!!!! Luckily all was well and I just ended up with a fat lip.

We also held our moment of silence on top of the hill next to our new American flag for all that we lost on 9-11 nine years ago. We should never forget that terrible tragedy and the brave firefighters and rescuers that gave up their lives in an effort to save the people in the Towers. We also cant forget the pentagon and Pennsylvania.

Well I hope to see you all out there again at our next regular game day in two weeks on Sept 25!!!!!

Wait the game day was on the 11th dang it i thought it was this saturday. Meh what ever that will give me time to get in my Kwa m16.
