Hostage Scenario
Matt came up with another great game mode that kinda blends black hawk down and rush. I liked the sound of it so I figured id type it out for him.
The game has two or more hostages depending on how wants to volunteer to be a hostage. If we have no hostages we could use a dummy on a stretcher or something like that.
Three or more bases would be assigned as designated hostage hides.
The teams would be broken up into a 3 to 1 ratio having more Hostage takers than the extraction team.
The hostage takers would get to take their hostages to any of the assigned bases. They could split their hostages up or keep them together. Heres the Kicker. The hostage takers must set up defenders on every base that they were assigned to use. I would suggest that an even number of takers should be planted at every base. This will level the playing field for the seriously outnumbered extraction team.
The extraction teams goal of course would be to get the hostages out of the combat zone and off to an LZ which would be assigned by an Admin on the field. I would suggest to make sure that everyone gets some action in that the extraction team once they have collected the hostages that they must fight their way through the other two bases, if they havnt already, to get the hostages back to the LZ. The hostages can be given a pistol only by the extraction team to aid in the fight against the Bad Guys. The game is over if BOTH the Hostages are killed in the fighting or they are brought safely to the extraction point or LZ.
As far as respawns go I would think that this game would be a blast as an elimination game with no respawns but that can be determined by the players the day we try it out.

ya this sounds like a amazing game mode we should give it a try this sat and ill tell ya what ill even be one of the hostages

Awesome Nobody I figured it would be tough to get volunteers for hostages but not when we have such a great core group of players I guess!!!

Sounds like a game worth trying! And I'll be a hostage, filming as a unarmed wounded hostage!

lol ya i would have typed this up my self, but of course i suck at typing and explaining then i end up rambling lol so thanks disco. An glad to know we have so many people wanting to be hostages hahaha. Hopefully disco and i can hammer out some more details an give this game a try come saturday

how far can a hostage taker be from a base. because i'd like to do some recon and sniper/spotter action

They hostages will have to stay IN the base. The terrorist are only aloud to go out the same distance as in rush. So not far at all
