Silencers!

Post  Rob on Sat Mar 20, 2010 1:13 am

So, I have been in the market for a silencer for along time. But what always stoped me is I wanted to get one that would support a longer barrel for later down the road. Well for my KWA M4A1 I have seen multiple people use the Madbull Gemtech. anyone know much about them? I know my KWA is a 14mm counter clockwise as well as this Gemtech. So they should work correct?

* Outter Barrel Length = 14.5" [368mm]
* Barrel thread = 14mm* [Counter clock wise]
* Inner Barrel Length = 15.5" [394 mm]
* Inner Barrel Diameter = 6.05mm
* Magazine Capacity = 350 Rounds Hi-Cap magazine included
* Caliber = 6mm Airsoft BB
* Velocity = 380+ fps** with .20 gram BB's
* Rate of Fire = 20+ rps***
* Weight = 6.5 lbs.
* Power = 8.4V, 9.6V NiMh Battery, or 7.4V, 11.1V Lithium Polymer or Lithium Manganese Battery [Maximum 11.1 V, 20A continuous]

there are literally hundreds of ccw silencers out there. i dont think ive ever seen anything other than 14mm but im not sure if there is. alot of the silencers out there will come with two threaded ends that are swapable so the graphics(if any) will be right side up. gemtech silencers are pretty good but any "matrix" silencer is just as good and you might save 10 bucks. they are all hollow so itll cover the inner barrel if necessary. if you want it to support the barrel stuff it with cotton balls or strips of t-shirt. hope that helps rob.
